This brake rotor and pad kit is a reliable upgrade for Mitsubishi Pajero NS, NT, NW and NX models, offering improved braking performance without breaking the bank. Slotted brake rotors deliver better performance compared to standard smooth rotors. Under heavy braking, dust and gases build up between the pad and rotor, leading to “brake fade” and reduced stopping efficiency. The machined slots in these rotors allow dust and gases to escape, improving contact between the pad and rotor for consistent performance.
In addition to reducing brake fade, the slotted design helps distribute heat more evenly across the rotor surface. This minimises the risk of warping under high temperatures and extends the life of the brakes. The slots also provide an enhanced initial “bite,” giving the brakes a more responsive feel without sacrificing smoothness.
