Where is Budget 4x4 Life based?
Budget 4x4 Life is proudly based in Brisbane, Australia, where we run a small warehouse stocking a variety of Pajero accessories.
In 2025, we’re taking the business on the road! While we travel Australia in our caravan, we’ll still be working daily—processing orders, providing customer support, and running the business as usual. Our warehouse assistant in Brisbane will continue handling local stock fulfilment, ensuring smooth and efficient shipping.
While many items ship from our Brisbane warehouse, we also work with trusted suppliers in Australia and internationally to offer a wider range of products. Some larger or specialty items may be shipped directly from our suppliers due to warehouse space constraints.
No matter where we are, every order is processed and backed by us—because this business is our passion, and we’re committed to supporting our community.
Who is Budget 4x4 Life run by?
Budget 4x4 Life is a family-owned business run by Dewald and Nicole, a husband-and-wife duo who turned their passion for budget-friendly Pajero builds into a trusted online store.
Dewald started Budget 4x4 Life in 2021 as a YouTube channel, sharing DIY Pajero mods while studying at uni. As the community grew, so did the demand for a one-stop shop for Pajero owners—and that’s when the business was born.
At its core, Budget 4x4 Life is built on trust, integrity, and a love for adventure—and, of course, Mitsubishi Pajeros.
How does Budget 4x4 Life choose its products?
We take product selection seriously—if it’s on our site, it’s because we trust it.
✔ As 3-time Pajero owners, we know what works and what doesn’t.
✔ We personally fit, use, and recommend products we sell.
✔ We test multiple suppliers and versions to ensure quality and value.
✔ If it doesn’t meet our standards, we don’t sell it.
We’re slow to say yes and fast to say no.
Do you offer local pickup?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer local pickup at our warehouse in Brisbane as it isn't accessible to the general public.
Shipping
Where is my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive an email with tracking details. This will allow you to track your delivery directly with the courier.
📦 Multiple Shipments: Some products may ship separately. If that’s the case, you’ll receive a separate tracking email for each shipment, detailing the contents and tracking number.
⏳ Processing Times:
- Most in-stock items are shipped within 1-3 business days.
- Some items may have different processing times, which are listed on the product page.
🚚 Delivery Delays: While we do our best to assist, once your order has been dispatched, any delays are outside our control. If you notice a delay, we recommend contacting the courier directly for the most accurate updates. If you still need help, feel free to reach out to us.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are determined by several factors, including:
- Your shipping address
- The size & weight of the items in your cart
- The fulfilment location of the product
As you add products to your cart, shipping charges may adjust based on these factors. Shipping costs are shown at checkout.
🚚 Free Shipping: We offer free shipping on eligible products for orders over $250. Eligible items are clearly marked on their product pages. For all other products, standard shipping charges apply and will be calculated at checkout.

How long does shipping take?
⏳ Processing & Dispatch Times
- Items shipped from our Brisbane warehouse and in-stock items from our Aussie suppliers normally dispatch within 1-3 business days.
- Once shipped, standard postage takes an average of 3-7 business days for delivery.
- Special-order products have different processing times, which are listed on their product pages.
🚛 Why Some Items Take Longer to Ship
We have long-standing partnerships with suppliers in UAE and China to supply a small number of products that we can’t hold stock of in Australia due to space constraints. These include head units, control arms, plastic snorkels, and steering wheels. Shipping for these products may take longer, with estimated timeframes provided on their product pages.
📦 Delivery Delays
We always aim to dispatch orders ASAP, but once shipped, we can’t control courier delays. If you experience an issue, we recommend checking the tracking details or contacting the courier directly. Of course, if you still need help, feel free to reach out.
Where is my order shipped from?
We ship from multiple locations depending on the product:
- Brisbane Warehouse – A large variety of products are stocked locally for fast dispatch.
- Australian Suppliers – Some products ship directly from our trusted Aussie partners.
- International Suppliers – To offer a wider range of Pajero gear, we work with trusted suppliers in UAE and China for items that we can’t store locally due to space constraints (e.g., head units, control arms, plastic snorkels, steering wheels).
Regardless of where your order ships from, every purchase is processed by us and backed by Budget 4x4 Life.
Returns
I ordered the wrong product, what should I do?
If you’ve ordered the wrong item, contact us ASAP—we process orders same business day.
- If your order hasn’t been processed yet, we’ll update it for you.
- If it’s already been processed, you can return it (at your cost), and we’ll refund you once it’s received and approved back into stock. Shipping fees are not refundable.
How do I return my products?
We offer a 30-day returns window for unused items in their original condition.
If you’d like to return an item, email us at info@budget4x4life.com with your order number and reason for return. We’ll provide return instructions to proceed.
Change of Mind Returns
- Items must be unused and in their original condition.
- They must be shipped back within 30 days of your order date.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll process your refund to your original payment method and send a confirmation email.
- Refunds may take a few business days to appear in your account, depending on your payment method.
