This Bonnet Strut Kit makes lifting and holding your bonnet simple and smooth, giving you easier access for maintenance or checks.

Designed for Mitsubishi Pajero NM, NP, NS, NT, NW, and NX models (2000–2021), it fits Gen 4 models with no modifications needed. For Gen 3 models, small holes will need to be drilled into the bonnet, contact us if you need more information.

Important fitment notes:

TJM Snorkel Owners: Only install the passenger-side strut, as the driver-side strut will hit the snorkel. The bonnet is light enough for one strut to hold.
Dual Battery Owners: Struts may interfere with battery terminals. One strut can still fully support the bonnet.
Bracket sides are shown in the product photos.

Please note:

During transport, brackets may rub and cause minor paint fade. We recommend having a small bottle of black spray paint handy for touch-ups if needed.

They work well, hopefully they hold pressure for a long time. Installation was straightforward.

Bonnet struts NT Pajero

These arrange within seven days and it took very little time to fit. Good fit and opening the bonnet is so easy.
Only comment the nut tool could be about 100 to 150 mm longer

Work smarter, not harder

Just installed these after having them for a couple of months. Absolutely a great product and accessory for any car.

Firstly, the YouTube video is awesome and super easy to follow.

Second, I thought I was going to have trouble fitting to the bonnet, as I have arthritis in my hands, but it only took me 5 goes to install. For me that’s amazing, as small things like this can take me hours!

Third and most of all, working on my car is now so much easier and enjoyable, without trying to contend with the stock bonnet holder…… therefore working smarter not harder.

Hits second battery

It's super easy to install and a great product. The only thing to be wary of is if you have a second battery, the strut may hit a terminal. ended up only being able to instal driver's side but it seems more than strong enough.
